They are not linear and sequential. They are bi-lateral multi-modal thinkers. I wrote about this in The Millennium Matrix - although research like this was not mainstream at the time.

Fascinating insight into the behavior, worldview and stage-in-life of a generation. In many ways this vid clip is the modern equivalent of the Plato/Aristotle relationship - medium being the differentiator. For as much as things change - they stay the same?
